Last weekend we attended a farewell party for Alisha, who was leaving a company to which she had devoted 7 years of loyal service. During that time, Alisha had made unbreakable bonds and unforgettable friendships with her coworkers, who decided to send her off to her new job with a surprise party. Her coworkers and boss had teamed up to figure out an excuse to lure Alisha to the offices outside of business hours, where they would be waiting and hiding in the dark, ready to surprise her. The Hog Roast Beaminster team were so excited to get involved and give Alisha the send-off she deserved!
Alisha had mentioned to her work friend how she had once tried a hog roast at a wedding and had craved it ever since. So, her coworkers knew that there was no other food option than a hog roast and decided to book Hog Roast Beaminster! We were delighted to fulfil her longstanding craving and contribute to making her send-off special.
Our experienced and personable chef cooked and prepared all of the goodies from the Classic Hog Roast Menu. Starting with the whole roasted free-range pig with a serving of apple sauce, a side of homemade sage and onion stuffing and crackling. The heartiness of our specialty hog roast has a unique way of warming everybody up, which is why it makes such a great choice in these colder seasons. The meat-free alternative on offer was our BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is served in a bun and dressed with a crunchy coleslaw.
Although a bittersweet evening, Alisha was over the moon with her surprise party. She was so impressed with the hog roast, and could not believe that her co-workers had made such a lovely gesture!
