After you have checked out our menus, we will need to know a few details to create a bespoke menu for you. Simply call us, leave an email or fill out a contact form and we will quickly respond.
We have guests with dietary restrictions, what do you recommend?
As a catering company we feel it is our responsibility to make sure that every guest is leaving an event feeling satisfied with their meal. That is why we offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free meal options. If you have more specific concerns, please do feel free to give one of our team members a call for more information.
How much will it cost?
We can offer affordable catering options to fit any budget, and our prices are determined by date, number of guests, location and menu choice. We’d love to talk to you more about your catering needs, and in order to do that you can pick up the phone, or fill out an enquiry form in order to receive our prices.
What events do you cater for?
We can provide catering for any event of your choice, at the venue of your choice and we can create a bespoke menu perfect for any occasion. In the past we have catered for weddings, corporate events, charity events, memorials, anniversaries, birthdays, grand openings and more.

How far ahead do I need to book the event?
Spitting Pig Dorset would recommend you contact us as soon as possible after you have chosen a possible date. Being able to plan ahead is a great asset to planning a successful event. If you happen to need a last-minute event, then we will do our best to accommodate.
Are your menus flexible?
We take pride in being able to create a fully bespoke menu for any event and enjoy customising them to suit your venue, location, theme and more. Take a look at our menus as a starting point and then give us a call and you can create a menu from our diverse choice of canapes, appetizers, salads, meats and desserts.
What is included in my catered event?
Spitting Pig Dorset’s full-service catering includes one or more of our trained caterers depending of the number of guests, along with the necessary equipment for our buffet set up (chafing dishes, serving utensils, quality bamboo plates and cutlery, napkins.) We also provide linens for the buffet tables and a gazebo to serve under. We can also provide glasses, and china crockery at an extra cost.
What should I provide?
All that we ask you to provide is enough room for us to comfortably serve under our 3×3 metre gazebo and of course the hungry guests. After that we suggest you sit back and relax knowing everything is taken care of, even the cleaning up after.
What should I order for my children guests?
In the past we have provided hot dogs that go down an absolute treat, we can also provide burgers, chips, sausages and lots more. If you have an idea in mind, then we can also accommodate.

What a feast this one was. Guests were welcomed with canapés including halloumi, sausages, fish and chips, and duck wraps before moving on to a full Southern Slow spread of beef, chicken, and pork with potatoes, corn, coleslaw, and all the trimmings.

This was a wedding feast done properly. Guests started with canapés including halloumi, sausages, fish and chips, and duck wraps before moving on to a Southern Slow spread of beef, chicken, pork, potatoes, corn, coleslaw, and all the extras.
With 80 guests celebrating, there was plenty of food, plenty of laughter, and a fantastic atmosphere all day long.
The message we received afterwards made it even better:

A brilliant feast wit slow roasted beef, chicken and lamb, plus mac and cheese, coleslaw, Greek salad and all the favourites on the side.
