Throughout her life, Haley has worked many jobs, although she has always chosen to work with children and young people. For the last 10 years, she has worked at a local primary school in Dorset, helping children with their English and literacy skills. At the end of this academic year, she chose to take her retirement and her family wanted to host a celebration to commemorate the occasion. Her daughter Sarah contacted our catering manager Jack to arrange catering for the party. After looking through our menus, she decided that our Gourmet BBQ was a great option and would taste delicious in the sunshine! The party was set to take place in the garden of their family home, with 50 guests invited to join in with the celebrations. The Hog Roast Milton Abbas team was more than happy to get involved with catering for such a lovely cause.
On the day of the event, Jack and the Hog Roast Milton Abbas team arrived at the venue and began to prepare the menu. We started by grilling the main dishes, including succulent sausages, British beef burgers, veggie sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, and veggie skewers. Alongside the mains, we also served fresh bread rolls, corn cobettes, crunchy coleslaw, homemade chips, a green leaf salad, and sweet potato fries. The menu included something for everyone to enjoy and plenty to go around. It was great to see Haley enjoying herself and enjoying a much-needed break after so much hard work!
