Are you excited about Christmas? If so, you’re in good company! Here at Hog Roast Yetminster, we spend all year looking forward to the festive season and many months preparing for it – and this year has been no exception. If anything, we’re anticipating bigger and better celebrations this time around!
Since much of the nation’s plans were foiled in 2020 and then again in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdowns that followed as a result, we’ve noticed a lot of our fellow Dorset residents have decided to go big this year; and as always, our team have been more than happy to lend a helping hand!
With the Christmas period fast approaching, we’ve been answering phone calls and emails left and right, as eager customers strive to sort out their festive catering before the holiday arrives.
Just last week, we spoke to Sonja, who told us that Christmas was cancelled in her house last year after a last-minute covid test left her and her family in isolation. So, this year, she wants to celebrate twice as much! And since Christmas isn’t Christmas without the festive food, she has decided to make things extra special by getting the professionals involved, a.k.a. Hog Roast Yetminster.
We are, of course, over the moon that Sonja has chosen our team to help her out with such an important event, and our catering manager, Jack, has introduced her to our Full Festive Menu, which she immediately settled on for the occasion.
Now, thanks to Hog Roast Yetminster’s help, Sonja and her family have a wonderful Christmas to look forward to, where they’ll be treated to our fabulous turkey spread, complete with sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce, juicy pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese, homemade gravy, roast potatoes and a medley of seasonal veg, rounded off with our handmade mince pies with warm brandy butter and a glass of alcohol optional mulled wine.
