Earlier this year, Hog Roast Lyme Regis was contacted by staff at the Plush Cricket Club to arrange catering at their September event. For the catering, our managers Jack and Charlie needed to provide a delicious menu for 100 guests, including three courses of delicious dishes. After discussing several possible menus, it was decided that we would serve a course of delicious canapes, followed by a classic hog roast, and end with dessert. Our catering managers were eager to make sure that the menu was perfect and soon created an excellent catering package for the occasion.
On the day of the event, we began by serving a selection of delicious canapes to the guests, including crunchy spring rolls and a selection of mini quiches. These dishes were served by our experienced waiting staff as the guests mingled and enjoyed the beautiful venue. Following this, the guests enjoyed a classic hog roast, which was served buffet-style alongside all of the traditional trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing and crispy crackling. We also served a delicious meat-free main dish to ensure that the Vegetarians and Vegans were very well catered for. Our menu ended with dessert, with every guest enjoying a delicious dish accompanied by fresh berries and English cream.
Our catering was a great success and we received a spectacular review, stating that ‘Everything was perfect. Great food, and great selection. Great presentation. Helpful, friendly staff serving everyone.’
