Towards the end of January, Hog Roast Southampton catered for a birthday party taking place in Hedge End. The party was hosted by Phyllis, on behalf of her partner. For the party, Phyllis organised the venue, entertainment, and catering to ensure that the day would be memorable for all 75 guests. For the catering, Hog Roast Southampton was hired and asked to provide a buffet that would be ideal for a private party. Our catering manager Jack discussed the menu options with Phyllis before it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal for the event, alongside a few additional dishes. Once the menu was settled, the Hog Roast Southampton was looking forward to catering for this event!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Southampton team arrived at the Southern Parishes Conservative Club with plenty of time to prepare for the 19:30 serving time. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included a slow-roasted hog, succulent pork sausages, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The mains were all served in white bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free rolls also available. As well as the mains, we also served seasonal salad dishes and homemade chips to create a varied evening buffet. This menu was incredibly successful at the party and was enjoyed by all of the guests, including the guest of honour!
