For Lisa’s 50th birthday, her daughter Sophie planned a surprise party for her to enjoy, surrounded by her friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues. Lisa has always been incredibly sociable and makes friends everywhere she goes, so her daughter wanted to do something to show her how valuable she is to the people in her life. For the surprise, Sophie will be taking her mum for a spa day at a nearby resort. While they are out of the house, the rest of the family will be setting up the party and filling the home with the guests so that everything is ready for when they return! Along with the guest list and entertainment, Sophie also planned to hire Hog Roast Milton Abbas to cater for the event. She contacted our catering manager Jack and discussed a variety of menu options, before deciding on our Gourmet BBQ. This menu was sure to go down a treat and would be a great addition to the day.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Milton Abbas team set up our catering station in the kitchen and got to work preparing the dishes. For the mains, we served pork sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. We also served a selection of delicious sides, including homemade chips, fresh bread rolls, seasonal salad dishes, corn on the cob and crunchy coleslaw. This menu was incredibly varied and ensured that there was something for every guest to enjoy.
