In September, Hog Roast Bridport catered for Jess’s perfect late summer wedding. When it came to booking the catering, our managers, Jack and Charley, worked hard to ensure that Jess knew all of the possible catering options and we helped to decide which option would be most suitable. We were also made aware of Jess’s dairy allergy, which is not a problem for our team since we were able to plan the perfect dairy-free feast thanks to our knowledge of allergen safety.
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Bridport team arrived at the venue in the morning and began to prepare for the afternoon serving time. We prepare and cook all of our dishes on-site, which is the best way to ensure optimum taste and freshness in everything we do. The star of this menu was our slow-roasted hog, which was cooked to perfection for around five hours to ensure that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once ready, the succulent pork was served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served a variety of side dishes, including homemade chips, tomato and mozzarella salad, and corn cobettes. We were happy to hear so many guests complimenting our menu and it was great to see people coming back for seconds. It is always an honour to receive great feedback from the host- Jess said that we were friendly and accommodating and made her wedding day extra special!
