Allison and Jason planned a wonderful wedding taking place in their hometown. Their reception was small and traditional, hosted at the church they visit together. Following the morning reception, they arrived at their wonderful reception to enjoy a delicious lunch with their 90 guests.
For the lunch menu, Hog Roast Shaftesbur provided a sit-down meal for the guests, consisting of a delicious main course and dessert. We provided an incredible hog that had been slow-roasted to perfection on the day and expertly carved by our chef. The pork was accompanied by crispy crackling, homemade applesauce, and sage and onion stuffing. We also served fresh bread rolls and wraps, seasonal vegetables and salad dishes, sweet potato fries, and homemade chips. This created a tasty and balanced meal that went down a treat with the guests. Following the main course, we served fresh fruit salad and profiteroles, both presented elegantly to the guests at their tables.
After their lunch, the guests enjoyed an afternoon of music, dancing, photographs, and great entertainment from the happy couple. This entertainment stretched into the evening when the guests enjoyed their second Hog Roast Shaftesbur meal of the day. The evening meal was a simple yet delicious selection of bacon and sausages, served with sauces and fresh bread rolls.
