Hannah and Callum are far from traditional, so it was no surprise that they wanted an unconventional baby shower. Rather than having an all-female guest list with light catering and party games, they decided to go for something much more suited to them. They chose to invite all of their close friends and family, of all ages and genders, as well as providing some delicious Hog Roast Beaminster catering. Out of all of the menus we can provide, the couple preferred our slow-roasted hog option since it is the most cost-effective yet packed full of flavour.
On the day of the baby shower, we arrived at the venue with plenty of time to slow-roast our pig to perfection. It was a small hog, so the roasting took approximately 4 hours to be juicy and packed full of flavour. We were serving the hog in a selection of fresh bread rolls and wraps, accompanied by our sage and onion stuffing, homemade apple sauce, and crispy crackling.
Our catering was a perfect addition to the baby shower and it was a great event to be a part of. Hannah and Callum’s guests can’t wait to meet their new addition to the family!
