The Hog Roast West Bay brand has been in event catering for about three decades now. In all that time we have always stuck to our staple hog roast as the backbone of our entire business and service, but we have allowed ourselves to evolve in all that time by one massive factor alone: listening to you, the customer.
Without our customers we are of course nothing at Hog Roast West Bay. We’d happily cook and serve all this food for ourselves, but it means very little without the events and the company to go along with it. One of the most prominent ways we take on feedback is by paying attention to guest plates as they come back to us at the end of an event. If every dish is picked clean then we can fairly infer that the guests enjoyed their meal. If guests are coming back in for seconds and thirds then we definitely know they loved it, and if they come and ask us for contact info for a future event, then we definitely know our dining has had the desired effect.
The other approach we take to customer feedback is by asking our event hosts directly. We’ll of course always have open communication during the event, but with the hecticness of many an event we find it better to get in touch a few days after the fact once the dust has settled and we can get honest feedback. Often, this brings back glowing reviews, especially of late with our autumn events at Hog Roast West Bay, where the reviews have been effusive in their praise specifically for the professionalism and helpfulness of our friendly staff. Our roast will always get some plaudits, because it is of course just as delicious as it was thirty years ago, but it is the specific praise that our staff members get that really delight us and tell us that we’re again doing things right at Hog Roast West Bay!
