This week Hog Roast Wareham played host to an excellent afternoon of dining and celebration, as we catered for an intimate 60th birthday celebration right here in Wareham.
So often when customers come our way to ask about our catering, so many of them seem to have the impression that their event needs to be something truly massive to require professional catering. All too often we hear questions like “is 40 guests enough?”, “can you cater for my party of 20?”, “ is there a minimum in the number of guests required to serve?”. The answer, simply, is that Hog Roast Wareham will cater regardless of the size of your event. To us, there is no celebration too little or too large; as long as there’s a call for good food in good company, we’re here to cater.
In fact, we often enjoy the smaller events most. When we came into catering at Hog Roast Wareham we did so because we loved getting to mix it up with people from all over and share in the community of a good event. Event catering is all about bringing people together; we love being a part of that, especially so in the smaller events where we get a little more time with each guest and so often come away feeling like we established some real connections. It’s a big part of the privilege of this job.
So when the call came for this 60th birthday party and we were told it would be a smaller thing with close friends and family, we were very excited to get involved. A guest list of 18, which to us just meant even more food to go around for everyone. And with our southern slow roast menu on offer, we knew each guest was certainly going to want to come back in for seconds and thirds. With our Texas style beef brisket, Cajun spiced chicken, and Louisiana style sticky pork ribs, there was easily enough to go around and make this 60th celebration a perfect one!
