This Past Sunday the Hog Roast Moreton had the pleasure of coming out to the brilliant Frampton Arms annual Beer and Cider Festival to cater our renowned hog roast across the day for all 200 guests in attendance.
The Beer and Cider Festival spanned the entire weekend. On the Saturday the lovely folks from Basilico Pizza Van provided pizza for guests, while the Hog Roast Moreton team then took over on Sunday to perform our hog roast catering duties. When told that it was a beer and cider festival that we would be catering for, we knew right away that our hog roast was an obvious pick. When you’ve got all those great real local ales and craft IPAs, lagers, etc, you want something meaty and substantial to pair with it. What’s more substantial and meaty than a hog roast! It was just the perfect accompaniment to go with the day, especially as the sun shone through to create a really lovely summer atmosphere across the festival.
The Hog Roast Moreton team could not have set up a better weekend for ourselves if we tried. We love getting to cater for events at the best of times, but when a festival like this comes along where we also know there’s going to be live music, games, prizes, etc, then we know it’s going to be a real joy to be a part of. We may be there to work, but with so much going on around us, it’s hard not to soak up some of the atmosphere too!
And of course, with plenty of local beer and cider’s on show, guests would come by our serving booth in great spirits. Those spirits would only go up further when they’d then see what the Hog Roast Moreton team had to offer: fresh pulled pork rolls made from our authentically made hog roast and served with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and traditional apple sauce – perfect for pairing with an apple cider!
Our thanks to The Frampton Arms for organising such an incredible weekend and for including Hog Roast Moreton once more!
