Hog Roast Fareham – Sealing the Naming Ceremony with a Catered Hog Roast!

Hog Roast FarehamHaving a newborn is an absolute blessing. Of course, it doesn’t always feel like that on the long, sleepless late nights, but it is absolutely true regardless. Once you have had your newborn, everyone from friends, family, colleagues, are of course going to want to get any opportunity they can to see the new little one.

A great place to do this all in one go is at an event that is absolutely paramount to officially welcome your child to the family: the naming ceremony. In religious terms, this may be a christening, a baptism, or another religious ceremony that officially welcomes the baby into life and family. For the non-denominational, we have naming ceremonies.

Recently, Hog Roast Fareham were invited to fantastic naming ceremony right here un town. With 65 guests coming to join in the excellent traditions of the naming ceremony, the welcoming family knew they would need the dining to fit the occasion and make sure everyone came away well fed – including the newly named little one!

There are a lot of official parts of the naming ceremony, from the pledges of love and commitment from the parents to the picking of the guide parents, to the declaration of the name and its importance as a choice. In total, they are often little more than half an hour, which was plenty of time for our head chef Jack to get everything set up on our end for a proper toast after the ceremony.

Of course, it wasn’t just in that thirty minutes that we were prepping and cooking our foods. The Hog Roast Fareham team had begun much earlier to put all of the preparations into place for our signature hog roast. Cooked in the authentic spit style, it can take the better part of a day to have our pork come to the perfect level of crisp and tender meatiness. To be serving at 2pm meant a morning of cooking and prep at our own kitchens before then packing our hog roast into our mobile roasting units, allowing it to continue cooking all the way to serving time!

The Hog Roast Fareham were right and ready to go right on the dot at that 2pm serving, leading to a just perfectly time hog roast buffer right when everyone wanted it! Hog Roast Fareham
