Dubbed ‘Swine and Dine’, Monica’s gala was a feast for the senses, with Hog Roast Bournemouth at the helm to deliver a dining experience fit for the occasion. With 500 tickets sold out, our team knew we had our work cut out for us—but we were more than up to the challenge!
The venue, a luxurious events suite nestled inside a cricket ground, set the tone for an evening of sophistication. Soft purple lighting, tables adorned with crisp white tablecloths and delicate floral arrangements created an ambience of pure elegance.
As guests arrived, they were treated to an irresistible array of canapes, each one a miniature masterpiece of flavour and finesse. From smoked Scottish salmon and roasted duck to pan-seared fillets of beef, every bite showcased Hog Roast Bournemouth’s dedication to culinary excellence.
Once seated, guests were treated to a starter of heritage tomato and beetroot carpaccio—a colourful and refreshing prelude to the feast that awaited. And what a feast it was!
From the mustard-brushed sirloin served with Yorkshire puddings and red wine gravy to our iconic hog roast—complete with juicy pulled pork, crisp crackling, and all the trimmings—the main course was an explosion of flavours that left guests clamouring for more. Elevating the meal further, we presented freshly prepared salads and buttered new potatoes, ensuring absolute sensory delight.
As guests savoured bite after delectable bite, Monica hosted an auction of luxury items, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. And when it was time for dessert, Hog Roast Bournemouth delivered in style. Vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream and handmade dark chocolate tortes exuded decadent indulgence that left guests craving more.
As the evening drew to a close and the last crumbs were cleared away, a live band took the stage, signalling the start of a night of dancing and revelry. And as Hog Roast Bournemouth packed up our equipment and bid farewell to Monica’s gala, we couldn’t help but feel proud to have played a part in such a memorable and meaningful event!
