This week at Hog Roast Swanage we welcomed in a massive wedding celebration, where our expert team of chefs and servers brought an authentic hog roast dining experience to life for over 140 guests at an exceptional venue here in Swanage!
For over 30 years this has been the goal of Hog Roast Swanage just about every other week. It is our absolute privilege to be continually chosen to join you on your special days. The goal of any caterer is to be there at the big and special events, and they do not get much more so than a wedding. You have up to hundreds of guests all gathered for two, ready and excited to witness them make the most important commitment of all to each other: a life of love. You have a couple that are embarking on the greatest journey of all, with this being day one in the rest of their life; you have an experience that is explicitly billed as the “special day”, and thus everything has to live up to that billing – including, of course, our catering at Hog Roast Swanage.
This is where the joy of our job comes from; for decades we have been allowed to craft exceptional and stylish dining experiences for these special days. This weekend’s celebrations in Swanage may look from the outside like “just one more” of many, but that could not be any further from the truth for the Hog Roast Swanage team. Even after all these decades, each wedding is just as special as the last; just as special as the very first.
So with that, you could of course expect our head chef Jack to have an incredible menu prepared for our wedding guests at the weekend. Our signature hog roast was the main event, but it would be little without its huge array of fresh and delicious accompaniments: sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, apple sauce, creamy gourmet coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, roasted baby new potatoes, and a creamy mac just to round out this special menu for a truly special day!
