Hog Roast Dorchester was honoured to be able to assist Courtney and Jason with their son Cameron’s Christening last week! Friends and family of the pair came together from far and wide to see the tiny tot and celebrate his baptism, which turned out to be an unforgettable event for everyone involved.
With Cameron being the couple’s first child, Courtney and Jason had wanted to make sure that the occasion felt as special as possible for their family. And so, they had purchased lots of props for the reception: such as, a flower wall backdrop for guests to take photos in front of, a mix of coloured and LED balloons, and a balloon arch. They had also decked out the buffet tables with bunting, flowers, glass bowls filled with sweets for the guests to make their own pick and mix bags and a three-tiered cake they had commissioned from a local bakery. In addition, they even hired a photographer and videographer to capture all of the lovely memories as they were being made.
Hog Roast Dorchester’s catering crew had one of the most important jobs: keeping everyone fed! And at the request of Courtney and Jason, our team served our Classic Hog Roast Menu to the 80 guests in attendance. Sometimes referred to as our signature slow roast, this introductory feast of fork-tender and juicy pulled pork, crisp and crunchy crackling, sweet and tangy applesauce and sides is perfect for all sorts of events.
This feast couldn’t have suited the clients’ needs better, and as soon as the ceremony was over, the group made their way into the reception hall where they were instantly greeted by wonderful aromas and warm smiles from our caterers! Our team worked quickly to get everyone’s plates filled with the perfectly-cooked pork, before directing them to the buffet table, where they had the choice of adding creamy coleslaw, herb dressed new potatoes, salads and gluten-free rolls to their plates.
Courtney and Jason were right to be confident in Hog Roast Dorchester’s services. Everyone who attended the Christening was in awe of the food, even the non-meat-eaters, who had plenty of good things to say about our BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls and vegan ‘slaw!
