Hog Roast Verwood Serves Up a Feast for Corporate Guests in Dorset

With Catering Manager Jack leading the team, our mission was simple: deliver a corporate dining experience that was professional, delicious, and memorable.

The centrepiece of the day was our whole roasted pig, cooked slowly until the crackling reached its signature golden crunch. Served alongside our classic apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, the flavours were a perfect blend of tradition and indulgence. Guests also had their choice of freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, including gluten free options to ensure no one missed out.

To keep things balanced, we served a pair of refreshing sides: a crisp mixed salad and our crowd-favourite gourmet coleslaw, both of which complemented the rich, savoury hog roast beautifully. This thoughtful mix of textures and flavours made for plates that satisfied both hearty appetites and lighter tastes.

Our homemade vegetarian and vegan alternative – grilled vegetable skewers with halloumi for vegetarians, and without for vegans – offered smoky chargrilled flavours that stood proudly alongside the hog roast. Served with wraps, a cooling tzatziki dip, and a punchy sweet chilli sauce, this dish was every bit as popular with non-meat eaters.

Presentation was key for this corporate setting, and our food was served buffet-style on eco-friendly wooden disposable crockery with matching cutlery. It was a smart, sustainable, and practical choice for a lunchtime service where efficiency mattered, but quality couldn’t be compromised.

The event was a great success, with plenty of happy faces and full plates. For Jack and the Hog Roast Verwood team, it was rewarding to see how our catering added value to a day of business, networking, and connection.
