On the 16th of October, we were over at Blacknell Lane helping Parker Hannifin Manufacturing with their corporate event. With 100 hungry guests to feed and high expectations, Hog Roast Crewkerne worked tirelessly to prepare a feast our clients could be proud of.
It all began with a trio of free-range meats. Our team pre-marinated pork, beef and chicken in our secret recipe rubs before slow-cooking each over a low flame until we’d created the ultimate BBQ pork butt, Texan style beef brisket and Cajun-spiced chicken. As if the meats weren’t flavourful enough, we also set out a choice of sauces, including a smokey sweet BBQ glaze, hickory bourbon BBQ sauce and hot and spicy Cajun hot pepper sauce for those with brave palates!
This Southern Slow Roast spread wouldn’t have been complete without some all-American classics on the side, and Hog Roast Crewkerne brought them in spades. From buttery corn cobbettes and redneck-approved gourmet coleslaw with a pickley kick to mixed sweet potato and classic fries, this menu had something for everyone. Yes, even the non-meat-eaters were impressed when we rolled out the grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs packed with market fresh veg chunks and served with cool tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce.
Our food was an instant hit with the group and the guests had a blast using our roll and wrap selection to build their own unique sandwich combos. Parker Hannifin Manufacturing couldn’t have envisioned a better event and we at Hog Roast Crewkerne had a fab time catering for them!
