Hog Roast Wimborne Caters Ferndown Commercials Christmas Party!

Hog Roast WimborneLet’s be honest, the food is what makes a party. You can have the decorations, the music, the festive jumpers… but if the food falls flat, everyone remembers it for the wrong reasons. Christmas parties especially live and die by what’s on the plate, whether you’re celebrating with family or finally getting to relax with the people you work with every day.

Ferndown Commercials Ltd. clearly understood this, because as Christmas crept closer, they got in touch with Hog Roast Wimborne to help feed their team of 45 staff. We were more than happy to help – and even happier when they asked for our Full Festive Menu, which is perfect for holiday parties.

With the party taking place on Christmas Eve, the timing couldn’t have been better. Everyone was already in that slightly giddy, end-of-year mood, but when the Ferndown Commercials crew saw the food laid out, things definitely stepped up a notch. You could feel the excitement build almost instantly.

There was no hanging about. Guests grabbed their wooden bamboo plates and matching cutlery and got stuck straight into the buffet. With a choice of tender, slow-cooked turkey and vegetarian grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers to choose from, every diet was taken care of. No awkward gaps, no one left wondering what they could eat – just a solid spread that covered everyone.

Hog Roast WimborneAs well as the mains, Hog Roast Wimborne had rustled up a sea of accompaniments to appease every palate. We went all out with Yorkshire puddings, wholemeal and gluten-free rolls and wraps, cauliflower cheese, glazed seasonal vegetables, pigs in blankets galore and roasties so golden they practically glowed. From cranberry sauce to Sauce Shop sauces and irresistibly smooth gravy, the toppings were more than taken care of too.

Once everyone had polished off the savoury treats, it was time to tuck into something sweet. So, Hog Roast Wimborne rolled out (pun unintended!) our homemade chocolate log slices served with fresh cream, which – if you ask us – is exactly the kind of dessert Christmas Eve calls for.

It was a pleasure to watch as people helped themselves to each dish, rewarding our team with beaming smiles and the odd thumbs up when the food was so good they were lost for words. Suffice to say, Hog Roast Wimborne had just as much fun catering for this event as the guests did eating our food!
