FAQ: Your Hog Roast Lyme Regis FAQ’s – Answered!

We get asked a lot of questions here at Hog Roast Lyme Regis, and honestly, we love it. Whether it’s someone planning a wedding, a surprise birthday, or just wondering if we can squeeze a full hog roaster into a barn (spoiler alert: yes, we can), there’s no such thing as a silly question. So, today, we thought we’d pull together a couple of the ones we get asked most often.

What Type of Events Do You Specialise In?

Hog Roast Lyme Regis

Short answer? Pretty much anything. Long answer? Hog Roast Lyme Regis will never turn down an excuse to fire up the roaster.

We cater all sorts of events, but weddings are definitely our favourite – they’re kind of bread and butter. Hog roasts have this brilliant mix of being both affordable and communal, which is exactly what most couples want on their big day. Nothing breaks the ice like guests queuing for seconds together!

We’re also regulars at birthday parties, corporate functions, and all sorts of family celebrations. We’ve done christenings, baby showers, naming ceremonies, adoption parties, stag and hen dos, engagement parties, and even a few cosplay and LARPing events (we’ve seen some cracking costumes, too).

Basically, if you’re celebrating something – big or small – you can count us in!

Does It Matter If My Event Is Indoors or Outdoors?

Hog Roast Lyme RegisNot at all. One of the best things about Hog Roast Lyme Regis is how flexible our setup is. Our equipment runs on gas, so we don’t need fancy plug sockets or generators. Our grills are also lightweight, so if you need us on a beach, up a hillside, or tucked into a marquee, we’ll find a way.

And if the weather decides to have a bit of a strop – no problem. We’ve worked indoors plenty of times too. Whether it’s a country house, a village hall or your back garden, we can make it work without any fuss.

If you’ve got a question that we haven’t covered, feel free to drop us an email, slide into our DM’s or reach out the old-fashioned way (over the phone!). We’re always happy to chat hogs, weddings, and pretty much anything in between!
